Yeah but what is the reasoning to make it harder for people to deposit money with online gambling sites?
Why is it harder to deposit/withdraw to gambling sites from the US? First, because the government knows it’s unconstitutional to ban online gambling, so they give the impression that it IS illegal. Some states have made a decision on whether or not gambling should be legal, as they SHOULD be. Second, the law was snuck into a *port security* bill as an earmark that had NO chance of being rejected!
Currently, there is no federal law to make online gambling with an offshore gambling site illegal. There are actually several lawmakers trying to completely legalize online gambling (that would allow regulation, taxation, etc).
