I’m not sure how it works. In the UK, you just go out with people. But from movies, telvision and on here it seems its a two-teir thing over there. So if you’re just dating, you can see other people? But ‘going steady’ means that you’re just with that one person?
dunno toastie but often things are really done different over here [Brit living in USA] the one that sends me crazy is I love you but am NOT in love with you……………when I hear people say that I am like WTF are you talking about, you either love or you dont, there is NO in between surely.
What I have seen is that people can often take something so bloody simple and make it very NOT simple lol cant ya tell I
sometimes miss the way Brits do things..at least I knew where I stood 99.99999% of the time over there, here well ………………
To the lady below this comment, was that directed at me or the person asking the question ?? Just wondering as I cant be that STUPID as I am teaching the little dears over here with the hope that the JUST might get out of high school and not end up with the basic qualification of a time honored GED something that people in the UK can actually manage overall without this type of specialized assistance and the questioner IS in England. Just wanted you to be quite clear on that dear………….
