1. I belong to JDATE, an online dating site.
2. I have not tried using it much.
3. Should I only email/click on girls from my area (Chicago) or can I try to talk/pursue girls from across USA?

Okay, I always tell my clients to restrict their search to their metropolitan area. However, sometimes lightning does strike outside of town… and you don’t want to ignore it just because she happens to live in a different zip code!
JDATE is a decent site, but I found it to be a bit restrictive. I actually joined many websites before I finally chose which one to use with all of my clients. Click on the site below to check them out. They have a free 30 day trial period, so you can check it out to see if you would like to switch sites or not.
But, back to your situation. The reason that I instruct my clients to search for prospects within their city is due to stress. Relationship stress can be completely amplified by distance. Even if you get along great, your frustration will only grow because you can’t see the person more often! Plus, having someone local helps to avoid the financial stress of having to travel to see someone. (For either one of you)
But, if you feel a strong attraction for someone out of town, you definitely want to pursue the relationship. Just make sure that you take a decent amount of time talking to them online or on the phone to get to know them before you start "dating" them, and that you are open and honest with them. I spent three months talking to a woman before I decided to meet her for the first time… and now she’s my wife!
