ok, i’ve been posting dating ad on Craigslist in Australia. i get alot of replys and it’s so easy to tell they are machine-generated emails and scams. emails of girls with half naked pics asking for sex. or emails with girls that tell me to sign up something.
but here comes a special one. i get 1 email from girl that says she from USA, and we exchanged email for few days till we start instant messenging. we have talk for a week now. and i often ask question about USA and the place she live in. it sounds really true that she is not lie. we exchanged pics and she has multiple pics of her. that are real life pics ‘not half naked’.
she never mention about meeting me soon, she saying we will keep talking and wait to see if it works out. and she indicates she is willing to relocate. the only thing missing now is a web cam to see her or a phone talk…(if i call her on phone with USA country/area code that would confirm she is not lie about her location)
now the question comes to… if we really end up like to meet, i really dont’ want her to say ‘SEND ME MONEY, i will buy a ticket and spend the rest of my life with YOU!’…
does this lady sound like a scam? is there any way to check her location from her emails? but do u think a scam lady waste time talk with me for weeks to months or more.. just to scam $1000 ??
because if that is a scam and she will end up asking me for money, i really don’t want to waste time talking with her now!
i just have to ad here, this girl has not mention anything about money and ticket. nor say she loves me. and she is saying she willing to relocate for the right man. but right now we’re just talking. of cause there will be long way to go.. i know the best bet is keep talking and make sure she is for real… but if she ever ask for money i’d just put it over… it’s simple
it’s just the fact that i’d be disappointed if she ever ask. but u see this girl is taking her time.
Well, just make sure that you never send her money. It can be tricky with the plane ticket situation, though. Maybe you could fly out there? I would definitely get her number/see her on cam before doing ANYTHING, though. One of my guy friends met a girl who was living in the same town as he, but the girl was using fake pics (and still had the nerve to meet him).
