What are the dating rules and regulations when you join the army?

My boyfriend and I plan on joining the army once we are out of high school. We do not plan to get married until after college, which will be after we serve a few years. What are the rules for dating another soldier?

As long as you and him are still single and both of you are enlisted (one of you can’t be an officer while the other is enlisted) there’s no problem with it. However, if you and him don’t get married then there’s no guarantee you and him will be together since they could send you and him to entirely different parts of the world. If you and him are married you and him could be enrolled into the Married Army Couples Program and would have a much better chance of being together.
