These two groups in general have the hardest time in the dating world both within AND outside their race. A lot of Asian females seek white men and a lot of black males seek white women.
Why do you think black women and asian men are at the bottom of the dating food chain?
"Tracy" why are you always picking a fight? 70% of Black women are single… why don’t you do some research before arguing?
"Rachel" Did you read the question? I said "America" not the "world"
"Tracy" Don’t answer the question if you don’t have the knowledge to know if the claims are true or not.
"Blue star" What I said to ‘Tracy’ goes for you too. If you don’t have the knowledge to know if the claims are true.. DOn’t answer
Hmm, well i don’t have any problems dating.
This is an over-asked question, and its multi-layered.
I’d say one of the biggest obstacles would be how BW and AM are portrayed in the media. BW characters on TV or in movies are usually OLD, past their prime, or overweight. Think Queen Latifah or Alfre Woodard. This is very obvious marketing and subliminal messaging (to me anyway). I truly believe that there has long been a goal to divide and conquer Black families to encourage "The Melting Pot" American dream, which is basically absorbing other people to one big non-culture (American culture). Also it would get rid of the problem of "Blacks" that has clearly irked White America for generations. Gradually lighten up the population through interracial marriage. It worked in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Egypt, and the Dominican Republic. It helps to cement the status of the dominant group in society, when you "join among them".
AM are also a victim of these insidious stereotypes. They are rarely cast in American movies, you only see Jet Li or Jackie Chan in Kung Fu movies every now and again. I believe this serves to encourage Asian women (who are more often portrayed on TV) to date other men. I sometimes hear AW stereotype THEIR OWN men, and I hear BM do the same. As if they do not know how harmful sterotypes are.
Aside from that, i could list a ton of other reasons. BW declared they were "Independent" and joined the White feminist movement, which was a big turnoff to BM. Think of all those "female empowerment" songs that BW sing, or sayings like "I’m a strong BW".
Since I am aware of all these things and adjusted my attitude, i’ve had no problems in the dating world, and I date Black men ONLY, who are supposedly "abandoning" Black women.
